Week 2 of the course begins with learning to talk about ones nationality, place of origin.

They mention the different languages spoken in the Spain like Basque (vasco or euskera), Catalan (catalán), Galician (gallego) and Valencian (valenciano).

We then learn some phrases like

Soy de Polonia I am from Poland
Soy galés, de Cardiff. I am Welsh, from Cardiff

Surnames

In spanish speaking regions, people share the surname of father followed by the surname of the mother.

Father - Juan José Valle Santamaría
Mother - Maribel Manzanero Gutiérrez

(él/ella) habla Juan habla griego John speaks Greek.
